I bought an 87 325i a couple weeks ago, it runs great just needs a paint job. Today I went to have lunch, when I started my car up I lost power to my dash, the computer on the dash, the CD player and the tachometer/MPG gauge. The overhead computer that has red lights for engine oil, coolant, etc., went crazy and is lit up in a big T. The overhead computer used to light up only coolant now and then because I have a pinhole leak in the radiator that needs to be fixed.

I checked the fuses under the hood and I didnt see any that were popped, I tried swapping fuses 8 and 9 just to be sure and still nothing. I haven't checked the relays yet because the Chiltons manual I have doesn't show what they are (K1-8). Anyone have any idea what is causing this problem, could it be the relays? I don't know much about cars and less about the electrical systems.

Thanks in advance for the help!
