Is there a typical reason that a 1985 325e speedometer would drop dead? transmitter? other, more expensive reason?
I should like to repair this im my garage.
you could check your connection to your differential. Its a 2 prong plug that goes into the back. SHouldn't be able to miss it. Just one thing to check.
thats where it is on my car. hopefully its the same on yours.
Thanks for the input... I crawled under and found it just as stated, unpluged and repluged; still no response. I suppose I'll purchase a new transmitter and see what happens.
