Disengaging Security Clutch To Start My '98 528i
I found your Help site in the BMW E39 Garage...I need a small bit of advice if you would be so kind! Just purchased the 1998 Bimmer 528i and I find that to start the car I need to Depress the Clutch SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Hard that I feel as though I wil put my Foot right through the "Firewall"...It is so tough to do, that sometimes I don't think I will be able to start her! Is there a way to disengage this "Security Feature" so as to start the car w/o depresing the Clutch Pedal?? Please Help!
