How many of us store our roadster for the winter? I will on occassion get mine out when the sun is shining and take a spinn, but for the most part she is not driven in the winter months.

My Z4 sits in the garage while I work during the week. I have a back up vehicle
(5 Series) that I'm able to drive to work, which is a designated construction site at the new Wynn Las Vegas Resort...

The 5er is taking a beating and not the 'Z.'

I'm headin' out to work now and will get back with you later on, bud...

Man I wish I had a five to beat! How are things in the Las Vegas area? I have a nephew in Reno and he keeps trying to get me to move down there. Maybe some day. I am planning a big trip to the Riverside Ca. area in the spring. Be safe and enjoy.

i bought my 96 in 98 w/6k on it. i don't think it has ever seen salt? i voted for "naps all winter" but i might have to roll around the parking lot to keep the discs from pitting? first couple of winters it was in the garage, but the garage filled with crap and i don't know if i'll get the Z3 back in there this winter? snow sucks. i can't imagine driving a Z3 in the snow/ice? if i break the tires loose in a turn when it's wet out the car tries to change ends!

Yes they do that! I have swapped ends on mine several times at the track playing. I drove my 97 2.8 in the snow once and it was not fun. Since I store mine every winter, although since moving to Washington state the winters are tamer and if the sun shines I will sneak out for a drive (or spin!)

funny enough, Today in Toronto it is hellish outside. Snow, then freezing rain then snow again, it did this yesterday too. This morning i saw 2 Z3's on my way into work!!! I must admit, 1 was a "ratty" ( i know, i would kick myself for calling anything BM ratty, but it really was) 2.5i and the other was a 2.8. Both of them were moving well, but the weather was horrible!!! I didnt get a great look " the rubber, but @ a glance it looked like the 2.5 was on ASR`s!!!!!

Wow, I would not want to drive mine in that weather, but to each his own. I admit I have always had high performance summer tires and never owned snows or all seasons for the roadster.
