Door/Brake Light

I have a 1996 328i four door. The right rear blinker light went out a short time ago. I replaced the bulb, and everything works fine. But my onboard computer still flashes "BRAKE LIGHT CIRCUIT, SEE OWNER'S MANUAL" How do I make that stop?, I checked the fuses, they are all fine. Also my right rear door does not lock with my key, nor the button inside the car. Any ideas?'

The diagnostic circuits tend to shit them selves over time, I have the same issue and have'nt had any time to have a look, If you find a solution before I do can you please post it up.
