Door scuffs from other cars?

I left my black 330cic in a parking lot today and came back to find that the passenger door had 2 white inch-long vertical marks on the door. They're not dings, but it looks like another car door hit mine for sure, and the white on black looks terrible :-(( Trying to rub out the marks doesn't help any to get rid of them.

Can these be removed or is it a case for touch up paint?

Sorry to hear...have you tried to buff it out with Meguiar's Scratch X?

have you tried a cleaner wax ? I'd start with the least abrasive stuff first if the wax doesn't work . you could try polishing compound ( turtle wax makes one ) with a damp cloth using very light strokes . Be very careful , especially with black paint , you dont want swirl marks or make a bad situation worse. It should come off , sounds like its just white paint from another car and it should come off pretty easy . hope it works for you . take you time and dont rub too hard . good luck

Thanks for the ideas. We're supposed to get some bad weather (ie- snow) here in the Northeast over the next few days, so it might be a while before I can try the ideas out.

I'll follow up and let you know what happens.
