[idea] Ok, I love my car but.......now I want to do some performance mods but I am hard pressed to find ANYONE that has parts for the E60. Am I just looking in all the wrong places. I have seen a couple of exterior kits by AC Schnitzer but for mad money. I am not trying to spend 600-euro on a rear spoiler and 900-euro for side skirts. That is a bit pricey....or am I living in LALA land thinking that I could find parts cheaper.

It will be very limited for a while. We've only just got the E60's rolling out and it takes a year or so for kits to start appearing. That is only if the E60 is popular in Europe. All i can say on that front is that at the weekend i saw more Aston Martin DB7's than i did E60's all week! (i saw 1) The 3 series is a lot more popular than the 5 and unfortunatly only the BMW approved tuning firms tend to manufacture mods for it. (as there isn't much demand for 5 tuning) Alpina/Schnitzer/Dinan should have a few parts available but they WILL be expensive.

No doubt mikev....I refuse to spend 600 euro on a spoiler, 1000 euro on side skirts and 800 euro a piece for the front and rear apron kits and over 12000-euro on rims and rubber. Hell I could take that money and buy an 88 5.0 Mustang and supe it up. I guess I need to just be patient and see what appears. The new Bimmer mag has a way decked out 530i..but it is way EXPENSIVE.
