Hi everyone, I am new to your forum and am quite glad to have found one this detailed. I own a few E30's and have a question about one. I have a 1990 325i. When I'm sitting at an idle the car idles rough and the head lights and the dash lights flutter to the hesitation and roughness. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this. I tested the alternator and it is charging fine. Do the BMW alternators have diodes in them that can go bad? I have experienced that on some American products. Thanks in advance.
