Does any one have any experience with a no start condition after a motor swap. NO fuel or spark. Swapped the ecu's didn't help. Jumped the fuel pump relay and got fuel but no spark. Also no CHECK ENGINE light in key position 2!??!?!?! I don't know wtf is going on. My third m20 swap and they seem to be giving me more and more problems. Any help would be appreciated. THANK YOU. - ANTHONY

I've done one m20 swap, and only had a minor vacuum problem. You screwed the big plastic connector from the harness to the ECU connection? You attached the ground wire from the block to the body... if you did, did it make good contact?

yes

yes I did connect the plastic connector and the ground strap w / good contact. I failed to mention though that I swaped an 87 loom into an 89 car and today I noticed that I was missing one of three wires to the starter which the 87 sub harness doesn't have. The 89 DOES! It also has a plastic "twist" connector for the newer style injector rail. It's the original harness that came with my car so I am HOPING that this is the problem. THANK YOU! I'll let you know what happens. - Anthony

you know what I went back with my oem harness. Everything should work but I still have no fuel or spark. I do have a check engine light and the Idle Air Valve buzzes but no go. ??? I don't know what is happening. I checked all grounds and tried two ecu's. Unless both my dme's are bad Idk??? Any other suggestions or advice??
