Factory Phone Problem

I have a 99 540i with a factory phone in it that is a dinosaur and I want to remove it from the center console....Anyone know how this thing comes out or where I can buy a manual that can tell me?

Removing And Installing/Replacing Eject Box

Remove fresh air grill in footwell.

Remove screws (1) and (2).
Raise center armrest.

Disconnect all plug connections and remove center armrest.

Pull sliding carriage apart fully and release screws.

Installation:
Place washers (3) on outer-lying bores.
Insert centering pin (2) of carriage in bores (1).

Push sliding carriage completely together and insert cable with connectors.

Press clips apart and press eject box forwards to remove.

NOTE: Clips (1) without eject box for better representation.

I could not get my BMW phone to be activated so I upgraded mine to Bluetooth using a kit from www.bimmernav.com/e39.html It was really easy, and it also gave my voice recognition.

I highly recommend them as I am not very good with this stuff and they walked me through how to do it over the phone.
