I have a Production No. for a new car that I've ordered. Where on the BMW site can I track its progress?

Cheers,

If you go to BMWUSA.COM, there's a link: "OWNER'S CIRCLE".
Set up your account, you'll need to have your production number with you.

OR...

Here's what I found from another X3 forum...

"
There is a better way to track the factory production and shipment of your new X3. Most of us check online using the bmwusa website and owner's circle. But most of us know and have read posts on this message board testifying to just how inaccurate the website info can be. It's not a bad system. It's just not good enough for those of us waiting anxiously for our new X3's to arrive at our doorstep! Here's a more accurate way:

1. Dial a special BMW toll-free Phone #: 1.800.831.1117
2. Wait out the first set of voice recordings. This first set will tell you BMW offices are closed or not closed, depending on when you call. Do nothing until the second set of voice prompts begins.
3. The second set of voice prompts will give you options. The voice will prompt you to say "vehicle production status". Go ahead and say "vehicle production status" into the phone.
4. The voice will then ask you for your production # or VIN #. "Say" either one into the phone.
5. The voice will tell you to wait: it will then "read" to you the latest info contained in their tracking system.

My OC on the web says as of today: "Vehicle produced not shipped".

This BMW toll-free phone site said days ago my vehicle was at the port, and as of yesterday says my vehicle is "in transit", which I think means on the ship headed to America.""
