Fog lights - Yellow v. Clear

I would like to replace the clear lamps on my fog lights with yellow lamps. Is this possible? Do they make yellow bulbs for these lights? If anybody knows where I can get 'em......THANKS!

I believe they are very hard to come by because they are just not the standard. Yellow bulbs reflect snow better, and the yellow lighting is more visible to others in foggy weather. But typical halogen fog lights light up the road better at night in regular dry situations.

piaa makes a set of yellow bulbs too, i've been looking for em at the local stores, but i'm gonna have to go online

For whatever it's worth (probably not much) my experience with yellow fog lights was that I felt I could see better with the white ones than the yellow ones.

May just be me.

This was years ago on a different car, so sorry I can't help you locate the ones you want to try...

unless you drive in alot of snow i think white works better [:)]
