The M3 I origionally ordered from my dealorship I ended up buying. How you may ask??? Let's just call it fate. I went for a drive on Saturday and passed by my BMW dealorship and I saw a Silver M3 Convertible in the lot with the top down. It was love at first site because that was the same exact looking car I ordered. I had to take that car for a ride, so I went to my salesman and asked him is this the car I ordered??? He said this is your car, and he handed me the keys. I took the car for a test drive and once I got back to the dealorship I bought it. I am picking up the car tomarrow (Wednesday), because they are putting on 20% all around window tints and the Teflon Protection Guard.
Now regarding the Lotus Elise...... Besides the fact that it's one of the coolest cars on the road, it's just not practical for me in the Chicago suburbs. At least in the Winter I can buy the hardtop and winter tires for the M3. Also, I sat in the Elise at the auto show and it was a pain to get in and out of the car. I wish I could have both though!!!
