I need a prize to give away to my employees as incentive on a new project. Keep in mind they all work on the net and are tech junkies. Prize value has to be around $1000.00

Only thing I could think of was a flat panel monitor.[8]

Help me, I'm stumped! [?|]

We gave away a digital camera and a digital camcorder last year.

Other suggestions, though some people may already have them:

Apple MP3 player with prepaid download credit
Surround sound home theatre system
TIVO
Robot, like that Sony dog Aido or whatever his name is
Media Center PC
BMW rental for a week! [:D]

Yeah... I thought of the cheap laptop idea too. Being tech guys though, I'm not sure this will give them the DRIVE to win the prize. They all are into TOP OF THE LINE stuff. [?|]

Guess I could get a pretty 1337 digi cam for a grand though.[thumb]

Keep em coming guys... I wanna offer em something REALLY cool.[:D]

hmm. i dont know to me those few suggestions wont work. with tivo u need to know calble company to get the right one, 1000 is like 1/2-1/3 the amount for a home theatre. mp3 player wont really apeal to everyoone same with that robot crap and ppl may have a home theatre and tivo, not like it matters its a prize. id say a cannon eos Digital SLR + 1gb memory, or if u dont wanna go teh digi cam route, id say a nice viewsonic 19 or 20'' lcd. laptop is nice but ppl may have them. i wonder if newegg.com has gift certificates. or you could just to a VISA gift card.
