got my new '04 X5 but...

I got the navigation system so I have no CD player. Dealer wants $700 for installing the 6-disc changer and I think it's WAY overpriced.

Is there a place where I can get an OEM changer for a cheaper price (maybe ebay?) or even an aftermarket one that'll fit directly in the X5 without any fabrication and still work with the navi controls?

I'm sorta new to the BMWs, so any help would be appreciated.

By the time I purchased mine, paid for shipping, found the time to install it-figuring out which wires are for what-phone and so on, I would now say that 700.00 sounds like a bargain if I had it to do again.

Bryan, where did you buy the CD Changer from? I think mine was about $400 from CircleBMW and it took me about 30 minutes to install.

The connector for the alpine changer and BMW orgianlly connector is different..so u need the adapter
