Has anyone done this?

I was browsing through some Z3 galleries online, and given the undeniable vintage roadster cues that the Z3 takes, has anyone ever done a side-exit exhaust where a chrome tip pokes out right before the rear wheel on either side from a slash cut angle? What do you think of the idea?

Hmmm, maybe someone could photoshop one for us? The problem I see is that when the exhaust rises from there, it will be raising right into the occupants faces.
