Headlamp - low beam - 1990 325i

Hi - I've got to replace one of my low beams and the guy at AutoZone told me that instead of replacing one for like $8, that I should replace both low beams with some better headlamp for $35 for both. He said they'd shine much brighter.

Is this bullshit, or are there better headlamps that are worth the $35? The ones I have don't shine all too bright, but I didn't know if that was something that could be fixed by 'better' headlamps.

There are better headlamps and headlamps should be replaced in pairs, however without telling us what he is recommending I cannot comment on his recommendation or price.

Don't take any reccomendations from anyone who works at autozone. There's a reason they work at autozone and not a dealer or mechanic.
