So, I go to a stereo/alarm place down the street from my house since I needed to have my car alarm checked. When I got the car, it had a Clifford alarm installed, but I had no key fob for it. Only resolution I thought of was having it checked out to see how much it would cost to replace it.

The f-ing guy broke the cover under my steering wheel in half trying to pull it off. He did it right in front of me and didn't even awknowledge it, he just tried to cover it up. The freaking prick then continues to say that my alarm is crap and I need a new one - thus pitching a sale towards their new products and what not - Then when I reject his offer for a newer alarm, he jokes with his friends on how my car is a girls car and a piece of sh-t.

Sorry guys, it just pissed me off. I'm having somewhat of a bad day. DMV in the morning then this. GAH!

I mean I know that particular part of the dash is poorly made, but, eh, it's just dumb. I reckon eBay has it on there somewhere.

Anyway, just needed to vent.

Happy New Year and be safe.

bump that. you dont need to take that crap from that loser. call his boss and explain to him the $h1tty service you recieved ontop of the damage done to your car. hopefully you pointed out to this guy while he was in your car that he broke your cover. you should get reimbursed for the damage if nothing else. if they dont comply. call up the better business beaurau (sp?) and report the company. then call the manager back. if he's a dick, get the regional managers number. someone through the line is gonna stroke a check to you, but you cant be quiet about this. no way. i refuse to be bullied by some clown when they are selling me a service that i am going to pay for.

Its ok to vent to us my friend, but don't stop here. You have to be a squeaky wheel about this kind of treatment. If the store is privately owned, a complaint to the owner is a good place to start. If its a chain outfit then you have alot more people to complain too. Go get 'em
