Hi there, my name is Will and I hail from the New Jersey shore in the US. I have been lurking here for a month or so now; I just recentley purchased my 2nd BWM. The car is a 1986 325i - not just any 325i - a BWM originally purchased in Germany [:)]. I found the car on ebay a little while back after much searching and shopping around. The car lived in North Carolina with its original owner, a ~50 year old Vientam Vet. He had been stationed in Germany at one point in his life and that is when he bought the car. I paid a pretty penny for her, but in my mind is worth it. The car has been meticulously taken care of through its life and is in pristene condition. Just under 150k miles before I drove it to NJ from NC. Has the manual trans. All of the body modifications are courtesy of BavAuto. I am excited to own the car and plan on keeping her for a looooooong time. I'll be happy to show off any particular areas of interest, just ask :)

I took this photo last week while the weather was cooperative for about one day. I'm still waiting for a good opportunity to get a nice group of shots.

Cheers;
will

Nice. Tech I looks so good in that colour.

Top marks.

Not sure about the fender side markers though.

My friend Will has a tech I the same colour. Weird.

Here it is after a group of about 20 of us thought we'd go for a drive on the beach. Don't worry we towed it out in about 2 mins and rinsed it off!

Echothreezero...what is even more wierd, he has got my name too!

Stock or not, I like these side markers a lot. There are still a bunch of things I'm trying to decide are stock or not; which is hard considering this is a home-market car.

...and c'mon, isn't anyone going to ask what my other one is?

Skimmed your post and didn't see the hint so I'll bite. What is you other one??

BTW I realised you have the same name - that was my point. Although he as around 15 BMW's so chances are if your name's will and you own a BMW, he has a car like yours lol.

Actually my other BMW only has two wheels...1978 R80/7

As far as other modifications besides athstetic, I'm going to say negative. From what I can tell, Everything under the hood seems stock. Same with handling...as far as I can tell it may as well be bone stock. Only real plans are to install another set of driving lights and to just keep the car up maintenece-wise. I beleive she already handles light years ahead of anything else around here, I see no reason to make drastic changes.
