I have a 93 525i E34. two days ago I was driving in the rain with my wipers on high. when i parked the car I noticed that the wipers only worked on high and would not park when turned off. they just stopped in the middle of the windshield. then I noticed power windows, sunroof, powerlocks, and interior lights were also inop. however the interior light will come on if manualy turned on, but won't come on when doors are opened. all fuses removed, inspected, and tested and all test good. there is no water intrusion any were I can see. I have check all grounds (that I have found lol) the runs and drives with no other problems. does any one have any ideas or has anyone experienced this before. you all are my last hope befor taking my baby to the dreaded dealer's service center.

thanks Andrew

Sorry man! Didnt mean to sound fatalistic but when your problem seems to be that convoluted/complicated to isolate I would say go ahead and take it to the "Stealer" or trusted/well known Bimmer mechanic......its what I would do...especially with electrical problems....

[headbang] well I found the problem !!!! As I stated in my first post "I checked all fuses, relays, and connections. and nothing. but today was to be the day that my car was going to the local BMW "Stealer" for repair. but just before I left my home I removed the back seat to check the battery hoping to find a fusable link or connection problem, but to my surprise I found a whole other fuse, relay, module cluster and ( F32 and F33 ) both 7.5 amp fuses were blown. I replaced the culprits and now my car is good as new. I figured I would not only share my problem but also the solution. maybe some on out there will bennifit from my post. [driving]
