Hi guys! New to this forum,but BMW lover as you al My problem started yesterday,when the trunk light came on .(525 Touring) When i chect , the "magnet" will not suck in the trunk to completle close! it maybe a easy fix?! or i will have to stop @ the dealer?! Thanx for any info
If it doesn't completely close after pushing it/slamming it then you probably need the dealer to replace the mechanism back there. It does seem like a bolt on part, so if someone knows differently maybe you can get from the parts dept and save the labor costs...
