Help! Where is the fuse for windshield washer pump

94 525 i. I looked at the fuse box under the hood and under the rear seat and can't seem to find where the windshield washer pump fuse.. The headlight washer turns on intermittently when i pull in the windshield washer lever. Appreciate your suggestions. Thanks

I thought the headlight washers operated every third or fourth time that you wash your windscreen - ie: after washing the windshield two or three times, the next time that you do so, the headlight washer will work aswell. Is that what you mean, or does it come on by itself or something similar?

The headlight washer comes on only when I press the windshield washer when I start up the car but windshield washer does not spray on the windscreen at all. When I press the windhield washer lever, the pump does not make a sound. My concern right now is to get the windscreen washer working because of the messy winter road condition. Not worried about the headlight washer. I need to check the fuse for it before I buy the $80 pump. Can someone pls tell me where the fuse is located. Desperate plea for help!!! Thanks

Check fuse #8 in the fusebox - could be wrong though.

#8 fuse in the fusebox under the hood is for rear fog lights. Appreciate more suggestions please.Thanks
