I have just completed a change out of all the major clutch components of my 84 318i, and after getting everything together and starting it up, i discovered that the idle is through the roof, at about 3k-3500 rpms. Along with the clutch I replaced the intake bellows and installed bosch platinum 4 spark plugs. I tried adjusting the idle valve and checked all the clamps and hoses for leaks. What might be causing this problem? Thanks
