Both X3 models (2.5i and 3.0i) have the STEPtronic Automatic Transmission as an option for $1,275. The guide states that and so does the bmwusa.com web site.
What are you talking about? The guide states *Option 205* is a no cost option in 2005 X3 which is STEPTRONIC automatic transmission. I don't think bmwusa.com has any info on 2005 models yet. I am refering to the 2005 model in the pdf file in the above link.
