I have a 1984 E30 318i, So if you dont know it kinda sucks having the oldest and slowest BMW, made in the E30 class. So what I did was put a S50 motor in my car. If your wandering how you can fix up your car like this, all you gotta do is go to www.zionsvilleautosport.com (Go to software,then click on Project Orca: E30 Twin Cam Conversion CD-ROM ). They have everything you need to to do the swap, even a cd that tells you how to do everthing step by step. It also helps to get a 5 lug conversion www.treehouseracing.com. Back to my car, Its painted white on 18' rims, and it has a Rieger body kit. I just want to know if I can make a profit with this car, How much should I ask for or should I just keep it?

Keep it. You'll NEVER get your money back so enjoy the thing while you can, that's my advice.

There's three motors to choose from, A M50, S50, And a S52.

Very impressive. About how much would it cost to get the M50? I'm guessing you'd have to get it from a donor car somewhere, but any idea how much that would run?

Whats impressive is that you could buy all the the parts from www.zionsvilleautosport.com The motor, the tranny, the brackets, the diff, they sell everything you need to do the motor swap. The motor is 3300.00 for the M50, S50-5500.0, S52-6500.00. Its pretty damn cool.

The thing is, it cost money. The only way I got my done was doing all the work myself, and driving my sisters metro for a month and a half. If you do plan to do this to your car, take your time and have patience because it wont get done over night, youll end up messing something up if you dont do it right. My friend tried to do it quick and ended up blowing his head gasket.

Sweet, M50 might come in about a year. You said it's everything right? If so, I'll be driving our Blazer until it's done. =)

This swap is nothing new, I know a few dozen people who have done it - either way it's a GREAT project and I wish I had the funds to do it.

5 lug is only necessary if you want to use larger brakes or wheels.

About an hour - my grandparents live there (my dad went to southwestern)
