Got this on an M3 Forum.

"the story is that the company that sold the car let the magazine media borrowed the car for test drive to write their article, but appearantly the media test drivers are bunch of morons that rolled the car many times before it comes to a stop on a tree on the center island.

The magazine have to pay $5.5-6 million NT (about $90,000-$105,000 U.S. dollar) for a brand new M5."

Images, I didn't even notice there were images. I found the links and when I try to view any of them, the M3 Forum asks me to log in.

Jeez, how did they get an M5 to roll over? I bet they spun out and the side of the vehicle slammed into that really tall curb and then the vehicle rolled over.

My other question is, if the car was sold to somebody else, why would the dealership let some magazine take out somebody else's brand-new M5?

Seems to me like the car really held its shape... except it doesn't look like the side/curtain airbags were deployed, or maybe they cut them away or something?? I have absolutely no idea, but just wanted to comment on the seemingly amazing structural rigidity of the car.

No doubt, but I certainly do not appreciate a sports car that's not safe.

Sport + safety = the win.
