How to protect leather from child seats?

Anybody have any advice on something that can be placed underneath child seats that will protect the leather and maintain the integrity of the seats?

I've used towels and blankets in the past in my Volvo, but since I upgraded to a 530i, I would like to "upgrade" the protection.

We have a 2 and 4 year old with leather seates in a 2002 Highlander (I've yet to let them in my 335i). My wife has a seat cover specifically designed to go under a car seat. It covers about half the rear sear and has pockets along the bottom. We got ours at Babies 'R Us but I bet they have them at Wal-Mart or any superstore like that. My wife thinks it is either made my or called Prince Lionheart but she is not sure.

I got one at Babys R US, that is similar to the one sold at Target. It works amazing, and can fit both rear and front facing child seats. We have them in my A6, and the SAV. I think the brand we got is Lionheart. Very pleased, and 0 marks, indentations or scuffs!

I got these at Babies R Us in black and they are a hard rubber/cloth with a removable back (I use one for an infant seat and another for a toddler booster). You can easily access the seat belt for the booster and it leaves NO indention whatsoever on my leather:

Seat Protector

Also, you can get the BMW child seat platic thingies (they line up the LATCH connectors) for about $10/ea. They keep the corner of the child seats from digging into the leather as well.
