I have a 1987 325 (no e, no i, no s) which recently started having vent blower problems. While cruising across Death Valley with my AC blasting there was a loud noise, then the obvious sound of something stuck in my blower. I lent this car to my sister for a few years with a complete repair manual, but got it back with about 1/3 of my repair manual. Could someone kindly tell me the easiest way to get to the blower so that I can see if this is something that can be extractd from the blower or if I need to replace the whole thing? Thanks in advance!

if its the same as mine it isn't all that bad of a job.

You get to it from under the hood, through the fire wall right in the middle. It is oval shaped. Take a few bolts off for the cover and there it is. The tricky thing is how its mounted in there and pulling off the wires. All in all it is a fairly simple job.

good luck!
