it is in excellent condition, the previous owner really took care of it
but it does have 2 problems:
1) The shifter is really loose, it feels kind of like its in neutral when it is really in gear. I figured I need some new bushings, any suggestions for a reliable place to buy them? And also my Bentley manual says I need a "special tool (BMW part No. 251 100)" in order to 'unlock' a plastic retaining ring when removing the shift linkage. Does anyone know if that is really necessary? or is it possible for me to do without it.
2) There is some mildew in the trunk, but it is not any where near the tail lights, it is located right on the backside of the back seats.
Does anyone know where a leak could come from that would cause this?
And what is the best way to get rid of the existing mildew?
