I've got an 1989 318i. Just the other day the left indicator flashes at about 120/min while the right indicator flashes as it always has done.
Any ideas?
Maybe a short in the wiring? I know I had the same problem (it was the left signal as well), and thats what it turned out to be. Possibly the relay, but I would think that would effect the right signal too...
found the cause. the rear light unit on the left hand side had been taken off while i was working on the automatic aerial. attached it & the indicator works.
