Installing iS Console Computer

After searching the forums for something relating to this topic I'm fairly sure it's a lost cause. So here's the question I'm sure someone has asked at some point. Can the iS computer be wired up in a normal "i" car? I have the wiring loom (Not clipped, taken out the right way) from the junkyard donor car, and I'm just looking for someone with input on this. If it isn't possible it was no big loss; it cost me $5 at the junkyard after I saw the iS badge, I jumped all over the opportunity. If it doesn't work I guess I have some more spare parts for the bin ;o)

do you mean the 13 buttoms OBC next to radio ?
if so, go back and get the rest of the system, 6 items in all.

I'm hoping this is a longish black box with two green connections on the bottom resembling the ones on the chime box (the one under the steering wheel). It's the only thing that looked foreign to me under the donor car's dash. Does it sound familiar?

it sounds like you got the right box, if so you'll be able to use "code" function, basically disables vehicle starting system when activated.

Thanks for all the input... I got the new OBC wired up and everything except the CODE function works fine, which I'm okay with since I'm planning on a remote alarm/starter being a purchase somewhere down the line. I got the wiring harness from the OBC plugged in to the controller box, but whatever else plugs into it (The green plug with the two beveled corners) is what I'm missing. The OBC works without it, so if anyone needs the controller, it's yours for a small fee. I already had the clock/date/temp OBC in the car so I didn't need the temp sensor. I just like knowing my average MPGs, and the other "new" features are cool. The turn signal was destroyed in the donor car, so that's something I'll be looking for. Anyone trade a controller box for a turn signal swx? ) Other than that the thing works like a charm.

Thanks, but I used my original door chime and it works with the new system.
