Ok.... I have a lot of friends that do a lot of work on BMWs and this problem... is yet to be resolved... I just thought maybe one of you all out there might know or have an idea I havnt heard yet...
Ok... so this started about a month ago... when I noticed the rubber tube between the mass air flow sensor and the intake butterfly valve had dry rotted... so I replaced it... not a big deal.. but at right about the same time every time I turned the car off... and the engine was hot.. after running to the store... any where that would warm up the engine to normal operating temp. I would hear a sound that could only be "air being pushed out"; just a short burst of air being let go of... I dont exactly know how to better describe it.. but after further looking into... I found the air was being pushed out of my intake... from where I dont know... but its just a short burst of air.. being pushed out of my intake about 4 seconds after the engine was shut off. Any ideas???????
Thanks,
