Key Memory/Climate Control Question

I have tried this and it worked:
Make all your settings ready, like seats, steering, mirrors, including radio, ac temp & mode (auto, etc). Then set them to memory. The next time you start up, it might or might not have been completely switched to the new memory setting. Do the whole process again, if necessary a few more times, and it should work.
I don't know if this is the right procedure (besides having the dealer reprogramme it),
but I had the same issue and this worked for me. This might or might not make a difference, but I always do it with the key in the ignition and engine running.

Then when everything is all set, press the "memory" button, followed by any one of the three "numbered" buttons. This will store all the settings in memory to whichever "numbered button" you selected.
The next time you use the key to disarm the car, it might reset all settings to the memory programmed on the key. OR it might NOT. If it does reset everything, just press the memory button you have set and you got your personalized settings back.
And again, the next time the key resets the memory, repeat the process. From my experience, after a few times, the memory programmed on the key should be over-ridden by your own memory settings.
