Just bought a 97 Z3 2.8. It has a key with a button, which does nothing. I have replaced the battery to no avail. What do I do to program the door locks?
I'm thinking you need to see a dealer, they program the keys for keyless entry, lights or alarm, seat memory and such. Plus they keep track of the vehicle and it's maintenance history thru thet key!
