kind of a weird prob

the e-brake button is pushed into the lever...

it still works but now i have to go in there with my pointer finger instead of my thumb...its annoying me...

mostly because i've had the car for about 3 weeks...

any ideas? anyone know where i can get a new ebrake lever arm?

(i have a 91 325i convertible if that helps)

Try sliding the rubber handle back along the lever. Possibly it has slid forward as opposed to the button being stuck inside.

Get a new lever from a local wrecker. Shouldn't cost bugger all - easy to replace. Or pull the old one out and see if you can repair it.
