Do you plan on replacing them yourself or do you want to tell a mechanic what you want done? If you have to ask you would probably better off having someone do it professionally.
Get a Bentley manual and pull the head. First make sure the head is flat. The surface may need to be ground. Also inspect for cracks. But just because you can't see them it doesn't mean they're not there. Some are extremely small. A good mechanic will find them with dye and a black light.
Any lifters that need to be replaced and all the lifters that are staying should be ground and matched to individual intake and exhaust ports which must all be ground as well. You might as well replace the valve guides or at least have them knurled. Put the head back on the engine using new gaskets and you should be all set.
A good machine shop will probably do all the above for $300-500, although I haven't priced any of this work in a long time. Let them do it - it's worth it. I had to do all this after a broken timing belt wiped out four valves at 90K miles (previous owner never replaced the belt which I bought at 80K) and I've put on another 130K without an engine problem. Took about half a day to get the head off and another half to put it all together with a week in between for the mechanic to work the head. It started the first time I turned the key. I also gained the undying respect of my roommates for pulling it off. Or maybe it was just immense relief that a junk yard car wasn't sitting in our garage for six months.
