location of idle control unit

can someone tell me where the idle control unit is located on a 1985 325i and 1984 318i? Thank you

on the 1984 318i the Idle control unit is locate above the glove box, to the far left of the ECU. you open the glove box, unscrew a couple screws in front, lower the covering above the inside of the glove box. its in there. its a semi- small green box.

i bet you that the 325i is set up the same.

thx, after i wrote the messafe, i decided to start unscrewing screws and found it. couldn't unpost my message. anyone know how to unpost these messages? thx again, though, for the back up info.
