Last night, in the early morning, my neighbors son woke up to go to the bathroom. Coincidently, he heard a noise outside and looked out the window. Approximatly three men were checking cars for unlocked doors, and one woman was the watch dog. They were probably the people we've been hearing about on the news, looking for insurance and registration information...unfortunetly, that's all they need now days to steal your identity. The 16 year old kid woke his dad, meanwhile he hit the panic button on their Tahoe, scaring them off. His dad took off trying to catch them, but couldnt find them.
My pistol is under my pillow, and my brand new Remington .300 ultra mag (just sighted it in last November) is leaning on my nightstand...both have loaded mag's and actions open. I don't have any problem practicing and enforcing my second amendment right. If I catch those bastards on my property, I'll warn them...I'll give them about one second before I blow a hole in their body six inches wide. I don't know if any of you here are hunter's/gun finatics...but if you arn't, or haven't fired a .300 ultra mag...them baby's don't give any mercy. It took me 30 rounds (@ $1.50 per round!) to sight it in on a new scope. Not easy getting used to from a Winchester .270...oh man, SOOO much more balls.

ANYWAY, lock your doors. Last week I heard about these people on the news, and first thing I thought..."I HIGHLY doubt they will happen to be in my neck of the woods." And sure enough, they were a week later. Hide your Information or something, because it is mandatory that you show proof of registration and insurance to a cop, whether they can look it up on their nifty computers or not.
