loud sound from the rear

Hi all

I have this problem with my e39 (523i) year 2000. I can hear repeating sound from the back of the car whenever i drive the car. The sound gets louder as I gain more speed. The dealer had replaced the rear wheel bearing and later the gear box. The sounds still there and they are going to replace the drive shaft. Just hoping it will solve the problem. Anybody had similar problem? Solutions?

Looks like the dealer is taking you for a long ride...
Hopefully they'll accidentally run into the cause of the problem before they replace most of the car!

I also am searching here for a problem with sound coming from the passenger rear side of my '97 528i. I had grease injected into the boot to see if the CV was dry. No change. It is getting louder. Help!!!
