I currently have a 528i and I'm thinking about getting something even more
fun to drive with more performance. Has anyone out there driven the M Coupe?
What did you think about it? I'm considering getting a 2001 or newer with over
300hp. [:D]

Never driven one, but I heard they are badass. It is an all-out sports car...not very much luxury to it...no back seats and a VERY tiny trunk (don't let the hatcback's utilitarian look fool you). Dash is very basic and basically nothing practical about it. But I hear that it is awesome to drive....a real driver's car.

The M coupe is not much different than the M roadster, except that it has no chassis flex and is real tight. I have driven them, 240hp version and 315hp version. Not much difference in the two, both are fun and fast. The main thing about the Coupe is that it is TIGHT! As far as I can remember it has the same dash as the roadster.

OT, but did you get your Dinan mods done at BMW Seattle?

I have heard the same thing. I know about 10 owners and they will not let them go. I would be willing to bet that their book value begins to increase soon, as the supply dwindles.

Doh, I should have noticed your Idaho plates. [?|]

Is the M Coupe/Roadster still in production?
