the austrian "auto revue" wrote about it:

the seats are so hard as an ironplate
no climacontrol,no radio in base version,and the carbon is not for the optic
its realy for weight!

a pure racing machine at same level with F360 and co.

i cant recall if there is a head unit (sterio) but ac is left out to save ~40 lbs and heater is nothing of a weight loss, if removed, so it does have heat.

no ac? yet it still has the vents? anyhow, what are those knobs for on the center console(under where the stereo should be)?

I'm guessing the vents are because this is an airtight car so it still needs airflow going in and that's what the vents do. I have the Top Gear video of this M3 CSL...the guy test-drove the car on this private island where there are no speed limits outside of the city, and great roads. It is a great test and you will truly fall in love with this M3 CSL just watching the video !!

Ill just clear one or two things up. The isle of man is NOT a private island (sorry that one made me laugh) its just an island in the british isles. they hold the TT races there each year as well also the AC and Radio are NO COST options. if you want you can have but it adds weight (i don't have, nor do i want, AC anyway so i don't see what the big deal is!!!)
