#5 is the nylon clutch fork pivot pin - this is what the clutch fork pivots on when the clutch pedal is depressed. It is made out of plastic and should be replaced whenever the clutch is replaced.

#6 is the spring clip that holds the clutch fork down on the pivot pin. It should normally not need to be replaced unless it is broken.

However, whenever replacing the clutch disk and throwout bearing, I also feel you should replace #1 - the pressure plate or diaphragm. The springs in the pressure plate wear out over time, increasing pedal effort and decreasing the holding pressure of the clutch. Most clutch kits you buy today include the pressure plate, but it's just something to verify before buying a specific kit.

You don't HAVE to replace 5 - I've seen boxes with 150,000miles plus on them and still on the factory clutch and the clutch is worn, but the pin is fine.

Tip - if you are replacing the clutch yourself, after installing 6 put a tie trough the ends exposed on the outside of the 'box bellhousing - I have put a 'box on and got everything all ready to go and accidentally pushed the clip inside whilst using the gearbox as a handhold to get out from under the car - so everything had to come out again.

You can buy a replacement clutch kit that has the disc (2) housing/pressure plate (1) throw-out/release bearing (3) for less than $100 US - so you may as well do them all.
