More "vocal" exhaust for 5 Series?

I'm looking at (1994-5) 530i and 540i models.

They drive real sweet (the 540i is a beast!) but the engine is so quiet on both of these models I can hardly hear it. I'd like to hear just a little more as I go through the gears during those times I drive for "pleasure."

Can anyone recommend an exhaust mod for a 530i that will make the car a tad more "vocal?" I'm NOT looking for anything loud, just a bit less "luxury car" sound and a bit more "performance car" sound.

I know we're a long way apart, but if you want a beast, I have an "arrest me" red '95 540 with a 6-speed. I'm selling it for $7000.

Hamann exhaust sounds awesome. I didn't want to spend so much so I opted for a nice Magnaflow muffler, and had it done, sounds really snappy and exotic being a V8. I plan to do the Magnaflow high flow cats next.
