I have a 1997 m3 and have never had a chance to take it over 145 and i was wondering if anyone has hit more than 155 on a stock m3.
Also I wanted to know if it is ok if i put 100 octane in my car just for a day at the track? Thanks for your replies

One question. Do you regret not getting the coupe with regards to loss of rigidity and, therefore, handling capabilities? Or did you always want a convertible?
Thanks for the positive remarks. I need to post pics with the top down but I haven't had any time. I always wanted a convertable and this just fell into my lap. I actually searched for a good month before this popped up. The weird thing is that I was a day away from finalizing a deal on a 97 M3 coupe. In regard to handling, I couldn't tell the difference between mine and a coupe. I've been told that the x-brace on the convertable makes it a better handling car than the coupe.
