Well too most people the E30 M3 is their favorite E30, well im no exeption, with that 4 banger making so much power and it just looks so good. My second favorite E30, but not by a long way is the 333i, it was only made for BMW SA by Alpina. It has the 733i engine in it. I had driven in one before, but it wasn't truly a 333i (it had Alpina B6 engine). Now my friend just unveils his new car, a 333i, one of only 204 ever made. In mint condition, he only paid R100 000 (about $15 000) for it which is a bargain as a very well kept 325is Evo2 can go for that price here. It also supposedly is as fast as an E36 M3, but I think it is faster. The reason I think this the guy who I take my care to be serviced, who is a good friend, has a 325is, with a 3,2lt M3 turbo engine (not sure if turbo is T3/T4, or T4). From 80-180km/h this car only gained 3 car lenghts on us. That is why I think this car is so fast.

Here some pics of his car.

I have a hard time believing the Alpinas came stock. Especailly with BMW stickers under the caps.

The bodykit is Mtec1. Ive always liked it when fitted factory. Those are different sideskirts though, look like is sideskirts, much simpler and cleaner than the mtec1 ones.

The reason the rear wheels look sunk in is they are an offset for the latter cars also. THe late models the rear wheel well was lower and you would actually tuck the tire under the fender a bit. On the early cars the fender lip just hangs out there. Even though they are wider in back my Alpinas look the same way. I am thinking about 7mm spacers in the rear. The hub is plenty big enough for that.

I can go down to my official BMW local dealer in Bournemouth and order a 330ci with Alpina wheels and schnitzer pedals. just as stock as if you tick the option for 19" wheels.

No the 333i did come standard with Alpina's with the BMW Roundel on them. I have a few pictures that I found somewhere (get back to you on the website). My father's best friend got one when it first came out, but he killed himself in it(rode under a truck at 180km/h), and I saw the pictures of it after the crash and his wheels were Alpina's with the BMW Roundel, although they weren't touching the ground. Well our 325is's never came out with that kit, not even our Evo1's.
