You need to be more specific, help with what? You should find and purchase a Bentley Manual for your car, they are the best on the market. You should also know, they are Bimmers not beamers, beamers are motorcycles. With that advice, welcome to the board.

[welcome] dude. I'd only be repeating Dan if I said Bimmers so I wont (even though I just did[hihi]) and about the advice i'd be repeating him there also.
Get some pictures of your new baby up on the board so we can all have a look at her. You might get some advice on styling when people can see the car.

Ok, so i got the old fuel pump and fuel filter out and the new ones in. Everything was marked and taged when i took it off; i put everything back where it went. The car will fire up but won't stay on. I don't smell gas in the carboraton. Is there a way i can test the connection from the pump? This bmw board is amazing. Thanx you everyone. Did you get to see the pix. I wanna do something different with this bimmer. I want to shave the doorhandles off and put poppers on. The tyrms i have are 17". I want to powder coat those rims black. Im going to paint the car like really dark grey. Im going to do whatever i can with the motor. New seats black with white and grey plad. but for now i need to get it working and get all the fuses i need the get everything working.

thanx again.

OMG! I didn't know they had diving board bumpers for e21's stateside. They look farkin terrible! (No offence dude, I'm just comparing them to the euro-bumpered version the rest of the world got.)

You may have air in your fuel line (not common as you normally don't need to bleed a petrol vehicle), or it may be that the filters are not primed - might take several attempts to start the car, esp as it is carburetted - carbs are a pain in the arse if you don't have exactly the right amount of fuel.

Have you checked you installed the pump correctly and it is pumping? Is it pumping the correct way?
