Need MAF sensor. What's the Land Rover equivalent?

My mechanic now believes I have a bad MAF sensor in my 99 540ia Sport. It failed some voltage tests that he ran. This is after first diagnosing a vacuum leak in the front and rear intake manifold gaskets - which he replaced.

Within a day, it threw the P0171/174 codes (both banks lean) and I brought it back to him. Now, he says it's the MAF sensor. I read that there's a Land Rover (4.0 I think) that uses the same Bosch part which is less than half the cost of the BMW equivalent. Does anyone know the Land Rover part # or at least the year/model of the compatible car/engine?
