need your advise

I am very new to purchase used cars. currently I have brand new 1999 toyota carola.I would like to purchase used BMW either 3 series or 5 series. Please advise me. your help is greatly appreciated.

Thank Q for your reply. I planning to trade my toyota. If I go with dealer 2000 353i or 2000 any 3 series. OR If I go with private owner. Please advise me which one is best. My budget is $15k + my car.

There is no 353i... perhaps you meant 535i or something similar?? Make sure that before you buy any car, especially privately, that you get a mechanical check performed to make sure there is nothing seriously wrong with the car. If in doubt... do not buy.

i'm not sure what u mean by brand new '99 corolla tho =] that's 4 years old heheh

i'm guessing u can make about 10,000 off that trade (i hope so) that's up to 25 large.

for 25 grand you're looking at high mileage 5 series newer years

low mileage older years 5 series

almost anything u want from the 3 range

what is this car gonna be used for? family? fun?

what number of seats do u need? doors? mpg?
etc etc
