I'm trying to spread my wings a little and check out some other BMW forums, so this seemed like a good place to start.

I have a 1991 318is that I have really fallen in love with. I've had a number of other cars, mostly 6-cyl models including an E46 330i, and I can't stop raving to people about the 'lil m42.

Most of my 'mods' have been maintainance, but I finally put H&R/Billy sports on, with Ronal LS wheels (bf.g tires, 215-50-15) and it made a really nice upgrade all around.

Beautiful car, I had a 91 318is that I sold two years ago. I wish I had kept it! They are wonderful cars and fun to drive. Welcome to the board.

Hey thanks for the welcome... I really love the car... it's been a revelation... although I don't think anyone could fault you for upgrading.

your ride looks really nice. the only thing i would change io the muffler. not to a loud one, but a double exhaust looks nicer in my opinion. i would not make it a loud one, though.

Looks sweet for being 15 years old! I love my little M42 as well... tonnes of fun to wind it up! Any chance of seeing an engine compartment picture?
I just got mine out of storage, this past weekend, so I'll be posting some pics soon I hope. The weather doesn't look too promising, so a good cleaning might not be happening too soon. No good weather, no "money shots". No more driving a crappy old Jetta for me.
