New Rubber

Okay guys, I need new tires for the stock wheels (pretty sure they're 15"). I just got them off my spare car ( the 1985 325e) and got rid of my old momo rims with the cobra tires. The old tires had a TON of ware and just aren't safe for the 9 month rainy season here in Seattle. The rims were F*cked up, missing threading and center caps. If they weren't 15 years old they could have been repaired but momo just can't find anything for me.

So basically, my parents said they'd buy me rubber and an alignment job for my bday last year and I just now put new rims on. I need tires that work very well in the rain, have tons of traction, but also something I can screw around with =) I can't afford to sacrifice drifting, it gets me through my day. I have a few days to decide cuz we won't go to the tire center til monday at the earliest. Let me know what you guys think. Just keep in mind they must fit on the stock rims (not the bbs basket weave). Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys, I'll take a look at those. Also, does "alignment and balance" mean camber adjustment, or do they only focus on wheel/tire. Cuz my car shakes like you know what when I hit 110+ and it didn't always do that.

I've got Pirelli P6000s and they are fantastic. Awesome wet-weather traction and fairly progressive on the slide.

They are just a bit noisy but i'm sure, like me, you won't care about that!

I think I figured out what I'm gonna get. The BFGoodrich t/a come in the sizes I want and wet weather traction is very important. I really want 205, but I don't know if that's wise for the 9 month rainy season of seattle. I think these tires come in anywhere from 45 to 70 on the sidewall. I really want 45 cuz that's what I used to have, but I know that 60 will be quieter. I'm thinking 205 50 or 195 50.
